PrevScreen is a preventive healthcare DVD-televised information system that has been developed to communicate preventive lifestyle information to patients and other groups. The academically referenced information includes anti-smoking, diet and exercise advice which complies with current government public health policies.

  • A notice board at the end can be provided as a platform for notices to be attached. The information is updated periodically or when needed.
  • The option of a coloured laminated booklet could provide a copy of the healthcare information so that anybody can examine it at leisure especially the references at the end for sources of the information.
  • The DVD is silent so that patients/clients are not irritated by unwanted sound. A TV screen and DVD player can be placed in convenient positions in waiting areas.
  • Costs can be met by ethical advertising or direct funding if advertising is not desirable.
